Each one describes a production decision about what to keep and what to remove. The word carries no quality ranking; it is a factual description of make-up.
What full spectrum CBD oil specifically contains
Full spectrum CBD oil is a whole-plant hemp extract. The extraction did not strip anything out; CBD is kept alongside the minor cannabinoids that occur naturally in the same plant.
In a full spectrum oil you will find:
- CBD (cannabidiol) — the primary cannabinoid and the one stated in the bottle's milligram figure.
- Minor cannabinoids — small amounts of compounds including CBG (cannabigerol) and CBN (cannabinol), which occur in hemp alongside CBD.
- Terpenes — aromatic compounds from the same plant, carried across in the extract.
- Trace THC — kept under 0.3% in our oils. This is the permitted level for this category in Australia, stated on the label and confirmed in the batch Certificate of Analysis (COA).
The carrier in our oils is MCT (medium-chain triglycerides), a neutral oil derived from coconut. Full spectrum vs broad-spectrum vs isolate
These three terms cover every CBD oil category on the market. The difference is purely what is kept versus removed.
Full spectrum CBD oil (this oil) keeps the complete plant profile — CBD, minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and the trace of THC under 0.3%. It is the least processed of the three.
Broad-spectrum takes the same whole-plant extract and runs it through an extra step that removes the THC, leaving 0% THC while keeping the other hemp compounds. None of the three compositions is inherently stronger than another. Strength is a separate variable: the milligram figure on the label.
